The History of Nancy's Noah's Ark Inc.

The idea of Nancy’s Noah’s Ark, and the program that you see today, began over thirty years ago. As I was looking for quality childcare for my own children, I found it hard to find a program that embodied the spiritual, intellectual and creative qualities that I wanted instilled in my children when they couldn’t be with me. Upon consulting friends, family and professionals in early childhood education, I began the journey known to most as “Noah’s Ark”. Starting from a humble beginning, with a total enrollment of fifteen children, NNA has grown to a center that influences the young minds of hundreds of children each school year.

Our Philosophy

To provide a loving, Christian environment of security for both parent and child. This will give your child an opportunity to learn letters, numbers, perceptual design, social acceptance, grooming habits, good self-esteem, brotherly love, sensitivity, respect for authority, and very importantly, to discover in each child their RAINBOW OF CREATIVITY - to ensure the proper media for their creativity to grow.

"To create a new mold - their mold!"

Dr. Seuss Day at the Ark

Nancy's Noah's Ark was filled with red and white stripes and whos galore, when we celebrated Dr. Seuss Day! All the kids got into the spirit of the day by dressing up as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters, reading Dr. Seuss books in class and creating Seussy art projects! It was a great day celebrating the wonderful works of Dr Seuss and the joy of reading!!

Purple Day

February's color of the month is purple. Not only do we get to celebrate the color purple, but we are also excited that we have made it through the whole rainbow! All the kids came to school in purple clothing...some that they made themselves! From a purple snack to perfectly purple art projects, it was a truly purplicious day!

100th Day of Kindergarten

Miss Christina's full day kindergarten class had an exciting day on Thursday! They celebrated their 100th day of Kindergarten! Not only is it a milestone to celebrate, it was also a great opportunity to focus on the number 100! All of the kids came to class with a shirt decorated with 100 things. From close pins to puff balls the kindergartners had a great time showing off their individual creations. Also, much of the class dressed up to look like a 100 year old person. This was such a fun day. Congratulations to all the kindergartners on all they have learned in their first 100 days of class!
