Well we knew our staff was creative, but they took that creativity to a whole new level for our 2nd Annual Staff Pumpkin Carving Contest. From the amazing candy corn sea scene to the Ghostbusters Marshmallow Man the teacher truly went all out. The Grand Prize winner was Miss Shelly and her Finding Nemo scene. The idea of Nancy’s Noah’s Ark, and the program that you see today, began over thirty years ago. As I was looking for quality childcare for my own children, I found it hard to find a program that embodied the spiritual, intellectual and creative qualities that I wanted instilled in my children when they couldn’t be with me. Upon consulting friends, family and professionals in early childhood education, I began the journey known to most as “Noah’s Ark”. Starting from a humble beginning, with a total enrollment of fifteen children, NNA has grown to a center that influences the young minds of hundreds of children each school year. With this growth, the amazing team at Nancy’s Noah’s Ark has strived to maintain the family atmosphere, the sense of a home away from home, and safe feeling that we were founded on so long ago. This foundation is felt in many ways, from the friendly greetings at the door, to the personal attention and love that all of our teachers and staff give to each family at our school. We believe that each child is unique and we are constantly growing and learning the complexities of quality early childhood education. With each child being at the cornerstone of their journey through school we build on their successes and nurture their discoveries. I feel that to truly understand our program and our school you must come through our doors and experience it first hand. I encourage you to take a tour and see what our school and program have to offer and I welcome you to “Come Aboard” and join our family. ~ Miss Nancy We are so excited and proud to be nominated for King 5’s Best of Western Washington.
